FAQs

You will need to hand a spirit level, hammer, stanley knife, step ladder, drill, sealant if your shed has windows.
We would recommend that there are two people when building a shed, assembly is straight forward and a step by step guide is provided with your delivery.
This will vary depending on the style and size of the building you have purchased but in general it will take 1 to 2 hours for 2 people to assemble.
It is essential that your shed has a firm and level base constructed from an appropriate and durable material. Without the correct base, buildings may be very difficult to assemble. In many cases, an incorrect base may lead to future deterioration of the product if assembly cannot be completed correctly as a result. Problems may include doors dropping out of square and becoming difficult to open and close, and/or water leakage. Assembling a garden building on an incorrect base is also likely to invalidate any guarantee that your product may carry. The options would be a flagged area, a concrete pad and bolted timber frame or timber joists
Our sheds are normally delivered flat packed within 7-10 working days. Once your shed is ready to be delivered you will be notified. Please read our delivery information before contacting us. During busy periods and peak seasons these lead times may vary.
Yes, to ensure the product arrives in good condition with no damages. The driver will need assistance to off load and place in the appropriate area for you. The panels are not heavy but can be awkward for one person to off load and deliver.
All our sheds come with a floor as standard (Note a floor is not a base, see "do I need to build a shed base" for info).
Tanalised timber is pressure treated so it is protected against rot. Timber is porous so It will always benefit the building to have an additional preservative on it to repel the water.
Tanalised (pressure treated) timber has been impregnated with a preservative under high vacuum pressure, resulting in a deep penetration into the timber. This treatment process gives a much longer lasting protection against rot, fungal decay and insect attack than dipped or sprayed timber.
The internal timber frame is a mixture of 44mm x 44mm and 44mm x 27mm and is pressure treated
The windows supplied in our sheds are Perspex, these are much less likely to be damaged in transit and are a safer alternative to glass
Our perspex window sheets are 600mm x 600mm
The shed door opening is approximately 2ft 6”, if you have a double door this is approximately 4ft
Your shed will have either 6 sections for a pent shed or 7 sections for an apex shed, there will be corner strips, window strips if applicable, fascias, felt and fixings Some companies build the sheds in sections for ease of delivery but we believe that if your shed has joining strips this will weaken the structure of the building
The apex shed approximate eaves height is 5ft 7” and the ridge height is 6ft 5”, the pent shed approximate eaves height is 6ft and the ridge height is 6ft 7”.
